Owners and Directors Aimee Campbell and McKell Lasrich studied with Bikram in Los Angeles in 2004. After completing Bikram’s intensive 9 week 500 hour teacher training both studied with a senior teacher for an additional 6 months.
After 6 years of teaching in Oregon, Utah and Los Angeles the pair decided to open up their own yoga studio.
Not only yoga teachers and business partners, this dynamic duo are sisters. Both certified by Bikram Choudhury and then re-certified by Rajashree Choudhury they continue a close relationship with Bikram headquarters by returning to help with teacher trainings and staying close with the vast Bikram family around the world.
Bikram Yoga Kapaa offers authentic Bikram Yoga classes 7 days a week as well as private yoga instruction. Bikram yoga is a beginning yoga class taught in a heated room for 90 min. specifically designed to holistically work your whole body.
Teaching 6 days a week you will also see Aimee and McKell practicing right along side you most days as well. “We believe in order to be a good teacher one needs to be a good student. Holding a consistent practice builds compassion, we sweat and work hard right along side our students.”

THE YOGA HOUSE CO-OP
As yoga teachers we support each other on our mats, in our business efforts, and in our everyday lives. We recognize that we are diverse and individually unique in our preferences and yoga paths. We have the fortunate ability to share our love filled space and to unite under one roof in a co-op type fashion.
The Yoga House is a co-operative model allowing students to directly support their teachers; your class fee goes directly to your teacher. The Yoga House is a collective who share in Yoga, Pilates, Dance, Massage, and Acupuncture. We are a collaborative effort of several dedicated yoga teachers and therapists. We provide quality yoga and healing modalities to people at all levels of physical and financial abilities.
The Yoga House Co-op
Upon entering The Yoga House you will find hardwood floors, beautiful woodwork and a hand painted mandala. The retail boutique carries eco yoga mats, locally made malas, original art by Esteban and both men’s and women’s yoga clothing from Tonic, Zohba as well as studio owner Aimee Campbell’s clothing line Clover Girl.
Mats and towels are available for rent. Bottled water, fresh coconut water and raw food Bikram bars are for sale. The studio is off set from the road and its own independent building, the yoga house is quiet, private and a serene environment.
You can enjoy private outdoor showers, ample parking and a close walk to Papaya’s.
The Massage Temple
The Yoga House is also home to The Massage Temple offering Thai and Sports Massage by James Carney and Luana Streltzer. A donation based Community Acupuncture Clinic offered by Laura Michele is in held every Tuesday from
2-3:30 and Saturday from 4:00-6:00.
