Handwriting Your Consciousness in Form

Your Consciousness in Form
In an Interview with Angeline Welk

In a recent interview with Angeline Welk, graphologist, she underscores a favorite statement by Ralph Waldo Emerson…”beauty is God’s handwriting.”

In reflecting on creation, we actually experience, contemplate. the signature of the Divine. We see many contrasts of the straight and the rounded line. Similarly, our handwriting, the signature of the evolving self is composed of various arrangements of the straight and rounded line.

Handwriting, Angeline continues is truly one’s “psychic pulse.” She refers to George Leonard in his book, Silent Pulse, who says that he believes that each individual is a hologram of the entire universe…that the essence and uniqueness of the whole person is expressed in certain parts—finger and voice prints, patterns of respiration, inner rhythm pulses and handwriting.

One’s handwriting, then, as a graphic expression of the self, is actually a movement of the soul. The expression reveals, in its soft and round movements, the degree of adaptation of its writer; in its richness of forms, his imagination; in its rhythm, his relation to the creative unconscious…literally a movement of inner dynamics into form!

The study of handwriting reveals the motivations and conflicts of its writer. Through a writing sample we see how the writer is oriented to his world, how he is adjusted physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, the writing being a graphic chart of his thoughts and emotions.

As the mind and body function as an integrated unit, health exists when they are in harmony; illness and despair result when stress and conflict interrupt this process. This will be shown in one’s handwriting by its rhythm, flow, pressure, and balance.

Angeline relates that the approach she likes to use when working with clients is to identify the assests and liabilities. At this point, she stresses how they can influence any aspect in the direction they choose. Our past, or foundation years, also leave their imprint, and Angeline feels her work is to lead her clients to realize their innate potential. This is achieved by her work in script therapy.

The Beauty Of Truth by Nick Good

The Beauty Of Truth

By Nick Good

Where shall you seek beauty, and how shall you find her unless she herself be your way and your guide?
And how shall you speak of her except she be the weaver of your speech?
-Kahlil Gibran

These immortal words of wisdom flowing so eloquently from the soul of Kahlil Gibran in his book The Prophet give us clear spiritual insight. As seekers of Truth in these modern times we are well advised to remember that Truth is a living energy, it is the Spirit of Life itself and it is that power, that energy, that spirit which we, as Spiritual Warriors, are charged with the purpose of embodying in its fullness. This is the great purification of self, the return to innocence, which has been communicated by many and achieved by few. The happy news is that this great journey — this magnificent adventure — through the wilderness of ego into the promised land of our own heart and soul is an unavoidable ‘date with destiny‘. It may take you an eternity to find that sacred path, however, what is sure is that one happy day you will arrive. That path is: “The Beauty Way”.

Walking The Beauty Way

Walking The Beauty Way essentially refers to a way of being. It colors and defines the power of our thoughts, words and actions. Thoughts, words and actions cause feelings and in turn, feelings cause thoughts, words and actions. A combination of these creates a magnetic attraction between you and your reality, and it is how the world is defined.

It is the ugly discord within us, especially in the content of our psyches, which causes all the apparitions in the modern world that we wish would go away. All facets of human life, which appear outside of us, are a direct reflection of the patterns of thought and feeling we have conditioned within us.

Beauty, Truth, Light, Love — these are the actual qualities a true human being embodies. Far from being the nebulous virtues to which the poet or new age seeker aspires, they are the actual hallmarks of a genuine spiritual warrior grounded and active in the world of form. Each of these fundamental essential human qualities, aspects of self, which deep down inside we all possess, is not only the goal of the spiritual aspirant but also the method and the way.

Our daily lives, the simple everyday business, tending to our responsibilities in relationships, family, community, society and culture, are the testing ground, which provide the crucible or container for the alchemy of change. There has never been a more urgent time for that change. The necessity for you and every one of us to express absolutely the beauty within you, in a fearless, compassionate way, through the strength of loving-kindness is very, very urgent.

By ignoring the critical importance of attending to our inner house, especially that dark basement of collective consciousness where the deepest soul wounds weep in their tortured lament, we have brought a living hell to our beloved Mother Earth.

“To feel beauty, to feel truth, that is self-remembering. Self-remembering is the awareness
of the presence of God.”
-Rodney Collins

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr

I was recently listening to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The man’s words resonate with such profound shining truth. Apart from finding them deeply moving, the main thing that struck me about his words was their spiritual power. The major difference I find between activists and conspiracy theorists, political and social commentators of today and Dr. King is that they essentially have very little spiritual power. Their facts may be correct but the whole slant of their presentation is largely oriented to highlighting, in graphic detail, the problems of the world. A far more effective and actually essential strategy is to embody the solution. An effective spiritual warrior is the living embodiment of the solution to the apparent problems of the times. The real “Super Hero” looks no further than themselves to find both the solution to and the cause of any disharmony, appearing around them. The success of this orientation is guaranteed by certain life-fulfilling facts.

  • A perfect “Divine Source” (God) of pure spiritual energy exists eternally.
  • Our choice as human beings and initiation as spiritual warriors is to find this “Source” and to merge in consciousness with it.
  • The only place to find the portal to this experience is within us.
  • All manifestations of darkness, discordance, disease, disharmony and evil are a direct consequence of the creative individual points of consciousness (i.e. our souls), ignoring their relationship with “The God Source” within themselves.
  • Over time, cultural ignorance (ignoring the point of life) causes layers of conditioning within the psyche/soul. Individuals born into a culture inherit this conditioning. Our mission is to dissolve it and allow the pure inner spirit (Holy Spirit) to flow into the world.
  • The more of us who are learning to do this and consistently achieving this, the faster hell on earth (the consequence of ignorance) becomes Heaven on Earth (the consequence of Truth)

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. demonstrates an unmistakable spiritual power born only from this powerful fusion of soul and source, individual and essence, man and God … within. His power came from intense and consistent soul searching within himself and an unshakeable commitment to walking The Beauty Way

The Beauty of the Inner Path

“Know Thyself.” was the simple inscription found above many of the temples of ancient Greece.

Meeting oneself, knowing oneself is all about relationship and the keynote of that relationship is love. There is no way to approach the inner spirit within without beauty. Divine love, the content of your soul is beauty itself. So many of us have had brutal lives and witnessed, experienced and expressed so much ugliness; yet the pain of that creates tenderness and there is so much beauty in that tenderness. That sensitivity, that vulnerability, the beauty of that tenderness, is the perfect organ with which to meet God in your own soul.

One of the most significant spiritual teachings ever is contained in the shortest verse in the Bible:
“… And Jesus wept.”

Those words contain the greatest secret. The tenderness and power of the Spiritual Warrior. It happened just before He raised his friend Lazarus from the dead. I will leave you to consider the mystery. Let me simply say there is a balance between acute sensitivity and strength that we need to attain. That balance is articulated perfectly in another scripture from the letters of St. Paulto the Corinthians:

If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing. 4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered; it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and it always perseveres.  8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.  13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Keats once wrote, “Beauty is truth, truth is beauty”. There is a living Truth within you; it is the light of God, the light of His Spirit within you, which is the light of love. It is beauty itself. You find it by coming into harmony with it, merging with it, and being one with it. This is a simple act of surrendering everything you are not. This is a feeling, which requires acute sensitivity within; Attention to detail of the finest hue. You see, within us, are all of the qualities of our divinity and all of the virtues they fuel merge into a living oneness. So the light of enlightenment, intelligence, wisdom and knowledge is merged with the love and beauty of Truth in a blissful, peaceful oneness. All we have to do is allow ourselves to experience it and that is a whole lot simpler than most people believe or teach.

This great and merciful act of sanity — this surrendering and return to innocence — is the most powerful thing any of us can do to transform the world we see around us. All of the social injustices that appall our innate sense of right and wrong are merely a reflection of the discord within.

Embodying The Solution

“Never mistake outward appearance for reality.”
-Huang Po

When David the 15-year old shepherd boy, came down from the hills to face Goliath on the battlefield he was alive with a living Truth. His God was “The Living God”. You see spirituality evolves from an idea, into a very definite experience, and spiritual practice is all about relationship. Relationship requires feeling; that is the juice. The more sublime the feeling the more beauty in the relationship. The more beauty in your relationship with your inner lover the more you become the embodiment of the living Truth and the more able you are to defeat your own personal Goliath. This meeting with the monster within is not an option; it is a pre-requisite for the evolution of your consciousness. As sure as infancy follows birth and adolescence follows childhood, so too will you go through certain rites of passage that cannot be avoided. They can however be delayed, but your appointment with the destiny of your soul can never be put off forever. There is a great clarion call sounding out across the hills and valleys of life, it is a call to action and if you are reading this it is calling to you. What that call is communicating is that you have a choice. It is the choice to evolve through suffering or through joy. Only you can make that choice and the choice begins anew in every moment of your life.

A great maturation process is underway in the world, and as we become more spiritually and psychologically awake we actually embody different qualities of being. This is an undeniable consequence of spiritual growth, the definite, incontestable demonstration of higher states of being expressed in the material world.

One of the biggest secrets that so many of us are beginning to grasp is that the whole game is going on inside of us. Of course there is the appearance of the world around us and because of the appearance we dance, but in order to master that world around us or at least affect it in a conscious and constructive away, we need to master the world within.

This inner journey is an adventure

This inner journey is an adventure. It is an adventure in self-discovery of such critical import that it has been alluded to by every indigenous culture that has ever walked upon the face of the earth. It is represented in stories and mythos throughout all time and is now boldly glorified in our own culture — blazing like the universal sun rising from the ocean of imagination.

The journey within is the heroes’ journey and in more modern parlance, the super heroes’ journey. Why? Because it takes a super heroic effort of will, focus, courage, determination, discipline, consistency, patience, forgiveness and love to navigate successfully the inner realms.

Beauty is our compass, tenderness our way.

As we look around the world today, especially through the lens of the popular media, life can appear so very, very ugly. What are we supposed to make of this, those of us who aspire to walking the beauty way? I love these times. They are as exciting as they are sobering. A massive reality check. A rude awakening. Perhaps the most significant factor in the mix right now is the realization that what appears to be around me is a reflection of something within me. Not necessarily a quality but a pattern; an archetypal pattern that exists in the collective consciousness of my own culture and, more significantly, in my own psyche. An even more significant realization is the acceptance that I actually have the power to change the world I see around me by dissolving the patterns within me. And that I must do it because if I don’t then who will?

Let’s take an extreme example here — something that is making big rumblings all over the modern western political world, and that is the shocking amount of pedophile activity occurring within politic and high society echelons. It shows up increasingly in our society and makes it clear that there is a political archetypal realm dreadfully abusing the inner child — the boundless, eternally youthful spirit, which is designed to play in the world of form and express — through boundless creativity — in an innocent and childlike way.

What is this a reflection of and where is the beauty factor in this? This field has agendas, timeframes and vested interests and is manipulative and controlling especially around power, possessions, sexuality and money. This is the political realm within us we all possess to some degree.  The extreme nature of this internal condition and the critical import of its dissolution are being reflected by what we are seeing in the world of form around us. This is a great wonder. So the way to make it go away on the outside is to dissolve the pattern on the inside and great tenderness is required to do this swiftly and effectively. It takes a lot of precision to cut away the cancer of the soul.

Making the Shifts. From Conflict to Peace. From Ugliness to Beauty. My experience.

During the unfolding of the perfection of my life. Through the hills and valleys, across the mountains and into the deep dark depths of my soul is one of the most extraordinary truths I have learned. It is summed up in a quote attributed to Jesus in a book called Love Without End, Jesus Speaks by Glenda Green. Here is the quote in its entirety:

History repeats itself, generation after generation, because of judgment and denial, which create ruptures in the flow of life. The universe fills the ruptures quickly with the very thing your objections denied.

What is being communicated to us here is a very clear insight into how life works and how unconsciously we cause the realities we call our life experiences. Essentially — based on our separate sense of self — our ego perspectives cause ruptures in a perfect flow and then the substance of the universe fills those ruptures causing the appearance of our inner thoughts and feelings to actually manifest in form. Isn’t that incredible! I was never taught that in school. Were you?

So it is the restoration of perfect flow that we need to be concerned with. That is the discipline of the Spiritual Warrior. There is an old saying that says that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance and that is why our internal awareness, our sense of self, needs to be very keen.

My early sense of self was rooted in the cold, windy farmlands of the shire ofLincolnand is well summed up in this poem, which appears in a couple of my books.

‘Twas in the lonely years of flat Lincolnshire fields where as a boy I ran wild and free, that I dreamed the dreams of the man I wished so much to be.  The wind blew cold and men grew old and talked of things that only their eyes could see.  Frosty mornings would bite, rain poured day and night, but no other place did I wish to be.  The fields my home, a river my teacher and my best friends were trees and dogs.  My favorite music was the morning birds and the sound of burning logs.  I felt so alive, full of joy, happy just to be; not even the bullies with kick and punch could knock that joy from me; but the most important thing a young lad needs, in his home to keep him growing… The River of Love, where this young fish swam, was slowly, slowly, slowing…

Fires of anger burned in the eyes of the man who called me his son; my mother was sad, their love was cold and froze in the years to come.  His temper was short, his words were cruel and cut my heart with the ease of a knife; my pain and fear then turned to spite and ’twas my brother with whom I did fight.  All were deafened by the words of things that never were said, they spoiled a love that hardly lived, and the family life was dead.  I was in a world I loved so much but with which I would not deal, and confused by things I did not know, yet inside of me could feel.  The tears I struggled to keep inside watered the wish in me, to find my Self, to be the man, someday I knew I could be; so I said goodbye to those I loved but never really knew and wandered far from the fields where a lonely boy had grew.  Many a year I carried the pain and dreamed of feeling peace again and as I grew I understood, we only did the best we could; we can only teach what we’ve been shown and lessons of Love we’d hardly known. So I forgave us all and released the ghosts that haunted me from coast to coast. And I hope one day all will see a simple Truth plain to me:

Now is the time to teach old and young lessons of love, so the river can run.

My journey has been about using the sensitivity of growing up in violent circumstances, and fostering them in a positive and constructive way. As someone journeys within themselves, they will find their love of life, that eternal wellspring of natural goodness we all possess inside. One’s only real responsibility is to exist from that wellspring as often as one can. The more I am immersed in union and communion with the Living waters of Truth and Goodness within me, the more capable I am of expressing those qualities in the world. Moreover, the more in the flow I am with my true inner nature, the more in the flow I can be with the nature of life.

Life truly is a wonderful, wonderful journey. If you are not experiencing it as such then I would advise you to dissolve all judgment and denial and also heal the ruptures that exist in your soul because of so much ego-centered functioning in the world. What we are talking about is something much more significant than your personal stuff. It is the cultural condition in fact, an archetypal problem, which exists on a  mythological level within us, deep inside the psyche of the consciousness of humanity. Being a warrior of consciousness, a gentle warrior, requires living from immense depth. It also requires a very high degree of awareness, self-discipline and mastery.

Essentially walking The Beauty Way is the most simple way to live. When one literally breathes the beauty of peace, one is truly an ambassador of the beauty way because one has uncovered the wellspring of eternal boundless within them and has experienced deep personal forgiveness and self-acceptance for long enough into those living waters until the currents of the psyche have become pure again.

The Mission of the modern day super hero

This is the mission of the modern day super hero. It requires a tremendous tenacity, sense of purpose and will. To dive to the very depths of the soul takes a strong heart. Take a breath with me now and commit to going a little deeper on that journey within. There is simply nothing in the material world that can compare. As you become more and more liberated of the chains of misconception and free of the shackles of discontent, you shall see, that indeed, the world is a very kind and fabulous place.

From Theory to Practice

An old Native American Indian chief once said, “The white man needs to learn to see with his heart.” What great and practical advice that is for us all. The magnificent thing about walking a real spiritual path is that it is so darn practical. It’s a way of being and a constant one at that. What that means is that there is a way of being which is as appropriate at a funeral as a wedding, it is perfect for when you are making love or eating a pizza. That’s what constancy is. So what is that way? It all boils down to one word: compassion; the highest frequency of love.

Here is another one of my favorite quotes:

What the soul is after is the highest feeling of love imaginable. This is the soul’s desire. This is its purpose. The soul is after the feeling. Not the knowledge, but the feeling. It already has the knowledge, but knowledge is conceptual. Feeling is experiential. The soul wants to feel itself and thus to know itself in its own experience.

The highest feeling is the experience of unity with All That Is. This is the great return to Truth for which the soul yearns. This is the feeling of perfect love.-Neale Donald Walsch, Conversations with God.

So it’s a feeling we are after. Of course grand ideas, theories, notions and philosophies all play their part in the orientation of awareness and consciousness but the real juice, the goal of it all, is to exist in that feeling state of true aliveness.

Forgiveness

The fastest way to exist in this optimal states of being is through forgiveness. The experience of love has a pre-cursor and that precursor is peace. It says in: A Course In Miracles that, “There is no love without peace and no peace without love.” It is important for those of us on the path to appreciate the order of initiations. Love is a mystery and the mystery is being revealed through us, as us. There is no genuine, lasting experience of love without peace and there is no genuine lasting experience of peace without forgiveness.

One of my friends, Howard Wills, is an extra-ordinary healer who regularly achieves the miraculous — reversing all manner of disability and disease in those who come in contact with him. He does it through peace making in the family soul through the power of prayer. Every single one of us has conflict within the family soul,  and we can dissolve that conflict — no matter how old and deep — through the power of prayer.

You can check out Howard’s prayers at www.howardwills.org

My Own Personal Practice

The ancient Hawaiians have a wonderful name for the restoration of peace through forgiveness. They call it Ho O Pono Pono. This practice can be experienced as a feeling state through the repetition of the following mantra:

I am sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. Thank you.

The practice of this simple mantra is the simplest and most powerful means I know of re-establishing the most powerful state of being. Coupled with soul consciousness, the attitude of Ho O Pono Pono is something I practice consistently. As one evolves along The Beauty Way it all gets so very, very simple and one’s attitude is an absolutely fundamental key to accessing the levels of being that permit the experience of life as an adventure, a journey through in ease and grace.

Food and The Beauty Way

One of the most significant support strategies on the path is in the quality of the food we eat. Others factors such as: when, why, and how we eat that food also massively affect the health of the cellular structure. There is a great debate raging about the absolutism of private food protocols. My advice is this:

  • Prepare all food with love.
  • Eat what you love and make it as natural as possible.
  • If it is cold and damp, eat warming foods and drinks.
  • Get plenty of herbal tea in your diet.
  • Bless all your food. Share with friends and family.
  • Have “Super Foods” every day in moderation.
  • Make sure you have a good supply of pure water.
  • Don’t over eat after8 p.m.because it’s one of the worst things to do for your health.
  • Try and make the biggest meal of the day in the early-mid afternoon when digestion is strongest.

I have a book called The Biology of Peace available on my website, which has much information and detail of optimal nutritional strategies, especially if you’re wishing to improve health. You can contact me direct about that at successultranow@gmail.com.

I hope you have enjoyed these words.

What Makes a Youth ” at-risk ” ? ( continued from post ” This Body Is a Victory “)

| Creating Community, Spirituality & Transformation | October 14, 2011

- What makes a Youth ” at-risk ” ? ( continued from post ” This Body Is a Victory “)

Part 1-

When one can name oneself a survivor, it takes the ups and downs of a windy path and a few attitude adjustments, from sometimes having found oneself on top of the hill, then back down in the deep valleys of a life lived dangerously, with passion and fierce compassion, and a sensitive heart wore on one’s sleeve to finally:

See the cup half full instead of the cup half empty, ready soon to overflow…

I started to focus on my victories instead of my failures.

Instead of seeing my challenges as hindrances and excuses, I finally took full responsibility for my successes!

So I started naming them, with no shame for my journey, and a true love for the trail I walked as a survivor. It might defy the picture of the pretty french girl with a strong will many had of me. My wish is to inspire those who struggle with their past’s burden.

Victorious

I victoriously survived being separated from my mother at age 5.

I victoriously healed the pain of witnessing sheer acts of violence against my mother, as a young child and of being the victim of physical and emotional violence myself as a teenager.

I victoriously left home at age 16, after being raised by a deeply wounded single dad, managed to finish school and to inspire my heroine addicted boyfriend to turn into a clean sweet loving partner while I completed college!

I victoriously recovered from date rape at 20, and victoriously found my way to be “reborn” in the United Statesafter landing in California with $300 in my pocket and 10 words of English in my vocabulary in 1986.

I complained – to myself- in the past that not only I had to learn from scratch to function within a society fundamentally different from the one I came from, but that I had to spend 20 years of my life healing from the severe dysfunctions of my upbringing, which I saw as a heavy weight in my striving for success.

But meantime, I successfully became a Somatic Therapist, and opened my first Healing Center in Marin County, California when I was 28, and was called an inspiration by my community and students numerous times after organizing multiple workshops and large- scale inspiring multi -media performances!

Back on Kauai

Jumping over a few years, I miraculously found my way back to Kauai in 2010 ( where I had lived before since 2001 ), after a year recovery from a broken pelvis ( I happen to be a passionate acrobatic Dancer and Yoga teacher as well as a Massage and Somatic Therapist ).

Still healing I happened to victoriously find a little place to start again, last year, and open a sweet little healing arts clinic, that I envisioned to be the root of a much larger plan, contributing to the Inter-Generational Sustainability of the island of Kauai…successfully…!

That very vision of Inter-Generational Sustainability, from the keikis to the kupunas in storing a system of support that is fun and empowering to all generations, is what guided me back to Kauai.

I started last year with the creation of a low-cost kupunas clinic for the elders offering healing touch and physical and emotional therapy.

My next target was the teens…

I discovered the Empowered Youth Initiative program offered by Off The Mat into the World in March of this year…

I had trained with OTM as a teacher of the Yoga in Action Program a couple years before – coaching Yoga teachers to become sustainable spiritual activists. Familiar with their curriculum due to a twenty year friendship and many collaborations with Suzanne Sterling, co-founder of OTM, priestess and performer, I had been waiting for their hands-on training with Youth at Risk to be presented on the West Coast…

“Yemaya’s on Fire”

“Yemaya’s on Fire” was my nickname after our first circle, in Santa Monica, with Sean Corn, Hala Khouri and Suzanne Sterling, the brilliant team of Off The Mat into the World.

Those 10 days were so deeply touching as we moved from Juvenile Halls to Jails, visiting Los Angeles-based organizations that are creating change and giving disadvantaged kids a chance to have a life worth living.

I came home to Kauai with a much clearer understanding of the situation and started designing a plan that would address the issues specific to our islands:

- Early teen pregnancy.
- Drug use.
- Suicide.
- Gang formation.
- Crime.
- Overall lack of health and motivation.
- Hopelessness.

Part 2:

So, what “makes “ a youth “ at -risk” ?

The main identified “at risk” conditions and circumstances leading to self-abusive behaviors, to violent and drug related choices, to gang forming and joining and turning away from any chances to participate in education and societal expectations are:

Poverty, substance abuse or violence in the family, single parent family unit, cultural disconnection from the culture’s roots and cultural minority issues.

In the case of our beautiful island as with the native american, black american, and latino communities on the mainland, we can see how the cultural disconnection from the culture’s roots can lead to a lack of clear self-identity in the new generation.

cyclic cocktail of circumstances

Similarly, a single parent family might lead to an imbalanced identity if the child is mostly exposed to only one gender role model. Add to this a lack of maturity in the single parent – as we see more and more children raising children – and the over stressing factor of poverty and lack of support. This creates a overwhelming cyclic cocktail of circumstances truly challenging to overcome.

An awareness of the basic need to “belong” inherent to all humans and overly sensitive in a growing teen, will help understand the grouping into Gangs, extreme tattooing and piercing and the creation of new rites of passages (such as committing a crime or journeying into narcotics land) to replace the missing pieces of a society replacing roots with technology.

What we see here on Kauai is a sad lack of outlet for creative expression, which contribute to the constant growing number of increasingly young drug users.

Most of us can relate to the adolescent desire to change the world, to create a reality which match the passion of a young heart for justice, beauty, oneness. If it was inherently challenging a few decades ago, it is easy to understand some of the powerlessness experienced by some of our youth in the climate of today’s society and Earth’s changes.

Healthy foundation for the future

Can this be remedied…? Can that spark of innocent fiery power be nurtured into a healthy pro-active foundation in those who embody the future?

Can a group of dedicated and inspired youth advocates, visionaries, teachers, counselors, sustainability mentors and holistic entrepreneurs make a real change at this time?

Can we offer an integral, sound and coherent network of holistic programs and mentorships sufficiently funded to create long lasting change to the issue at hand?

I strongly believe so…

I believe that our kids can overcome the challenges of today, and see their cups more than half full.

I believe that with our awakened minds and collaborating hearts we not only can, but must put our time and visions to work toward the manifestation grounds of Kauai’s Empowered Youth.

I shared a bit of my story and made myself transparent with you earlier, as I have experienced the depth and power that comes from witnessing each others vulnerabilities turned into strengths.

Part 3:

I will now share what K.E.Y is about.

Our Missionis to Inspire and Mentor Kauai’s Youth by creating a Holistic Youth Centerand satellite programs.

Our Vision is to give Kauai’s Youth the tools to become the evolved leaders of tomorrow, to practice deep ecology and sustainability in all relationships – with self, others, and the world.

Three Categories:

Our programs can be divided in three categories:

Sustainability in Community, Holistic Health Practices and Spiritual disciplines, and Creative Expression.

In a few words Kauai Empowered Youth aims to provide teens with:

-Exposure to sustainability in collaboration with Kauai’s green businesses connecting the Youth with the cycles of Life (organic farming and gardening, seed to table programs, appropriate technology ) and inspiring career options.
-Promote the importance of proper nutrition, self-discipline, and physical health.
-Re-instore healthy rites of passage and develop interest in the Sacred.
-Model respect and self-respect.
-Re-instore trust through reliable long term mentorship.
-Create regular outlets for creative expression promoting emotional literacy and self-empowerment.

Exciting? …and that’s a quick overview…!

Year Zero: Time of the Great Shift by Kiara Windrider

Year Zero: Time of the Great Shift

By Kiara Windrider

“Finally… a well researched book that brings us all the scientific facts about what might be happening to our planet, and the conclusion of incredible hope and promise for the Human race.” — Lee Carroll – Author of the ‘Kryon’ series.

From a lifetime’s courageous spiritual quest, Kiara Windrider offers us a wonderfully wise and enormously inspiring guide to the extraordinary times we are living through. With great lucidity and profound compassion he compellingly weaves together the big multidimensional picture of the unique opportunity we now have to undergo an unprecedented shift of our collective consciousness, offering ourselves and Mother Earth the hope and potential of a truly golden era for 2012 and beyond – Dr Jude Currivan – Author of ‘Hope’.
——–
I wanted to share a quick summary of what my upcoming book, ‘Year Zero’, is about.

Summary of ‘Year Zero’

We’re all going through such intense changes these days, both within ourselves and out in the world around us. What does it all mean, and where can we find our hope and our strength in the midst of all these sometimes painful and difficult challenges? Our beautiful earth seems like it’s dying so quickly, our systems and structures are falling apart, and everyone I know is going through profound physical as well as emotional collapse. Is it all just one big chaotic mess, or is there perhaps a larger evolutionary process that is guiding this journey? Are we heading towards a planetary doomsday as so many seem to be telling us? Or are we entering the birth tunnel of a new earth more beautiful than we can ever imagine?

My own journey has taken me through a study of ancient wisdom as well as various disciplines in contemporary science. My tools have been academic research as well as shamanic insight. I have experienced profound levels of despair as well as amazing revelations of hope. And slowly, through it all, tiny pieces of a giant jigsaw puzzle have been coming together which fill me with a profound hope for humanity and the earth, and this is what I would like to share with you.

Grand Cycles . . .

History moves in grand cycles, and some of these seem to synchronize with an evolutionary pulse that moves out periodically from the center of our galaxy. Astrophysicist Paul Laviolette refers to these pulses as ‘galactic superwaves’. These galactic waves have a physical component, composed of cosmic and gamma ray particles, which periodically move through our solar system creating enormous fluctuations within the sun and within the electromagnetic fields of the earth and other planets. But, as emanations of a vast galactic intelligence, they also have a profound spiritual component, which we can access through our higher dimensional selves.

Many spiritual explorers have spoken about higher-vibrational fields of consciousness flooding through the physical and subtle bodies of the earth, initiating a new cycle of creative evolution. Sri Aurobindo refers to this as the ‘supramental descent’. All forms of life are evolving rapidly in response to these cosmic waves of light, including Earth herself. The human species is mirroring this transformation in a journey that will take us beyond all known limits of physical form and consciousness.

As with a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly, there comes a stage where all known structures and identities collapse.  It is a necessary stage. In our current stage of evolution, we have become trapped within a matrix of subconscious conditioning and fear that has created a collective illusion of duality and separation. This matrix is now beginning to disintegrate.

There are indications that we could be very close to a geomagnetic reversal, a cyclical phenomenon in which the north and south magnetic poles get switched around. The actual timing of this reversal is generally very quick and sudden, and could happen within a period of a few hours or days. What makes this significant for us is that during this time of reversal, we become temporarily disconnected from the subconscious matrix of duality and separation, and become open to the possibility of achieving a soul merge, in which our physical bodies and light bodies merge into oneness, leading to an evolutionary stage which has been referred to as homo spiritus, or the divine human.

Mayan Prophecies

The Mayan prophecies refer to ‘three days of darkness’, the birth tunnel for the new world. The geomagnetic reversal is the physical mechanism for this birthing process. However, this is not a passive event; our collective intentions determine what we give birth to.  What are our highest dreams for humanity and the earth? What kind of world would we like to co-create? At a time when so much of our media is swimming with doomsday scenarios and fear, it is imperative to recognize that we are creator beings, who have been given the freedom to exercise our amazing creative powers, merged with an infinite sea of possibilities.

Lets surf this wave together, and co-create the highest dreams of our awakened hearts!

`ali `ali : a post in progress

| Richard Diamond's "HeartBeats", Spirituality & Transformation | September 22, 2011

Aliali

It took me about twenty minutes to find the word above. It wasn’t until I went back to where I started, a text from a friend containing a link for a reliable Hawaiian dictionary to find it. The word means clarity.

In reading a legend about the Mo’o, the lizard, the writer emphasizes the metaphorical need for every human to be grounded, belly to the Earth, front claws open to search and inquire, back claws in solid foundation to support growth, and then there is the tail. The tail that encompasses our growth in the sturdiness of our past. A-ha: The past.

Growth and Expansion

In growth and expansion, it is sometimes easy to shoot to the sky and forget your roots. I haven’t forgotten my roots, in fact the collusion of my past and my present often nips at the side of my mind. How do I carry forward the bounties or beings that brought me to this moment, while honoring the individual sovereignty, the perfection of each path’s evolution: each path ends at the same destination, you know.

The answer is I don’t think you can, not in the way I thought, for you cannot carry anyone, you simply carry on. And then a funny thing may happen, a vista, and you look to your right and there is a beloved and you both say, “How did you know I would be here?”

Clarity of the Heart

That is the clarity of the heart, the pu’u beats the path, and from above there is only one, from below there are universes.Even though the dictionary says it is a noun, I think it is more about the verbness of clarity, becoming clear, then clearing, humbling and breathing to cultivate and tend to the state of clarity. Just like I needed to read from the Hawaiian language, aliali or `ali`ali, “whiteness” or “clearness” to understand the synapses in my own brain, and yet in the difference the clarity of the sameness.

Claw for what is in front of you, and when you see it, rest your belly on the land beneath you in gratitude for the moment expressed. Swish your tail to remember that what lies behind you gives you the balance of what lies ahead, and if you trust the beat of your own path, all will be clear.

The Mystical Love of the Holy Spirit by Angeline Welk

| Spirituality & Transformation | August 25, 2011

The Mystical Love of the Holy Spirit

We were called into being to Love.

Love is the singular motivation of all life to evolve, to transform, and to reveal the hidden divine splendor concealed within all creation.

Love is the creative fire of the Universe, of your own being, and of God.

Different symbols are used in the Book of Light to teach us of the mystery and sacredness of this holy mystical love. There are painful consequences when this creative fire is misued.

When this sacred fire is conserved, it can ascend and activate the consciousness of each of the spiritual centers whereby we become enlightened.

The creative fire is the love of the holy Spirit. It is the fire through which we create beauty, transform our temple, and renew our spirits.

The holy Spirit of God is the divine Intelligence in motion purifying, counseling, and comforting us as we move forward in the evolutionary plan for the Earth. Its nature and power is dual, both feminine and masculine, will and imagination, intellect and intuition.

Through balancing our feminine and masculine natures by the activity of the holy Spirit, Light is born.

When we understand the essence of love and faith, and manifest them in our lives, then we can be initiates of the holy Spirit, receiving its power.

An initiate of the holy Spirit is empowered with twelve divine attributes.

Love (charity) moves us to perform our actions out of love for God, and for the well- being of all Creation.

Joy keeps us deeply aware of God’infinite goodness.

Peace results from joy and calms our spirits.

Patience helps us to be at peace in all situations.

Goodness calls us to be helpful as needed.

Kindness is a form of goodness revealed in our thoughts, words, and actions.

Endurance is a willingness to be patient for a desire to manifest, or for an experience to resolve.

Gentleness provides the power to direct undesireable expressions constructively.

Faith assures us that God is helping us fulfill our agreement for this Earth life experience.

Moderation reminds us to focus on balance.

Aspiration prompts us to pursue what is of a higher and more refined expression of our creative fire. Pureness helps us to regard our bodies and those of others as temples of the holy Spirit.

In its Love for us, the holy Spirit infuses into our soul gifts that help us shine with the Light of our Spiritual Self.

The gift of understanding gives us a deeper insight into the divine teachings. It discloses to the soul the hidden meanings and reveals the mysterious significance of many of the symbols and figures.

The gift of knowledge is direct awareness of mysteries, of how we are designed, how creation is governed by a divine intelligence.

The gift of wisdom empowers us to make choices that are life-promoting and soul-enriching.

The gift of counsel enlightens us providing solutions to challenging and unexpected situations.

The gift of reverence is given to us that we acknowledge our sacred relationship to God.

The gift of fortitude is given to us to help us overcome and transcend difficulties. It is also a power and a strength to meet whatever shows up in our lives.

The gift of awe of God awakens in us a feeling of warm gratitude in experiecing the grandeur of God’s majesty and love for us.

In our divine design, each one is graced with a distinctive gift. These are revealed to us as we commit ourselves to balance our lives and use our gifts to increase the Light of ourselves and of the Earth.

We have been called into being to Love.

An Evening at the Burning Ghats

| Spirituality & Transformation | July 11, 2011

An Evening at the Burning Ghats

My friend, Paul, a Canadian fromVancouverB.C., and I walked north following the banks of theGangesRiver. The sun was hot even in late afternoon. We were in the holy city ofBenares, currently namedVaranasi. Sacred to all Hindus, it is a lifetime goal to reach the city and die there. Ritual bathing at dawn attracted thousands of pilgrims who came to be cleansed in the river’s water believing their sins will be washed away. One of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, Benares hosts a large population and mixes new with old. Ancient temples, many thought to date back a thousand years, thrust their magnificently decorated sides high into the air over streets crowded with bicycles, automobiles, trucks, wooden wheeled wagons pulled by bullocks, and motorcycle driven local taxis with a seat mounted over two wheels in the rear. All maneuvered around holy cows which were everywhere. There were so many that often one had to step around them to enter buildings!  Paul suddenly stopped and pointed.

“Look, Charlie, those are the burning ghats  up ahead.”

The ghats are the buildings and platforms where religious funerals are held. Priests offer prayers for the newly departed while families and friends gather around the body wrapped in a white cloth. The Hindu way is to cremate the body in a pyre of flames. The cremation ceremonies are generally done at night. I raised my camera to take a picture of the area and was interrupted by an angry man shouting at me. He wore a white turban and his bearded face was contorted in anger.

      “No photos, no photos!”

I lowered my camera and we turned to walk away, but the man was not finished. He waved to two other men who joined him. Paul and I were sternly berated for even thinking about taking pictures in such a holy place. We both  apologized and were allowed to leave. I felt regretful, but I still wanted a picture. I walked some distance away and found a corner of a building. I got on my knees and snuck a shot that took in both the river and the ghats. Many months later, when I returned to California, I was finally able to see the processed photo. After all the trouble, I was relieved to find that the shot had turned out fine and quite clearly depicted the temples lining the Ganges and the platforms piled high with stacks of wood.

The Aroma of Food

We began the walk back to our rooms on the second story of a tourist hostel. The aroma of food from restaurants and sidewalk vendors along the way caused my stomach to growl. I  suggested to Paul that we go get some dinner and he agreed. We passed sidewalks and walls covered with round patties of animal dung which had been picked off the streets by young girls and their mothers. They were then shaped by their hands into round patties and left to dry in the hot sun. Once dry, the patties were used in cooking fires, as well as to provide heat. Nothing is wasted in India. Even street vendors sell hot tea in thin clay cups that are then thrown on the ground to break. They are dis-solved by the rain back into the soil. Organic garbage is left on the streets to be eaten by the holy cows, goats, pigs, dogs and cats that are always present. And yes, as we approached our hostel, we were obliged to step over two holy cows who lay blocking the entrance. We washed up, relaxed a bit, and walked six blocks to a restaurant we liked.

Paul studied the menu while I looked around. All the other tables were occupied, mostly by tourists. I heard French, Swedish, Italian, German, Spanish, as well as English, being spoken.

“I’m going to order the Dal Makhani,” announced Paul.

The dish was a traditional recipe from Kashmir, one of India’s hilly northern provinces, and is made with black lentils and red kidney beans which are soaked overnight. Then they are slowly cooked over low heat with tomatoes, ginger and garlic. The Dal Makhani is cooked for hours until the spices are blended and has a rich orange-red sauce. The delicious meal is served with basmati rice along with naan and pita bread.

“Good choice,” I said. “I’m going to have the Punjab Chutney.”

‘You like to live dangerously,” said Paul as he smiled.

“Well, it is spicy, that’s for sure.”

The farmers of Punjab, another northern Indian province, grow chickpeas which are called choley. They are sauteed along with onions, garlic, and tomatoes in a richly spiced and tangy sauce. I like to have the dish served over rice along with a plateful of naan bread.

“What do you want to do later on?” asked Paul as the waiter brought our meals and set them before us. He poured water for us, bowed slightly and left.

“I don’t know,” I said. “We sure had a close call today at the ghats. Man, those guys were irate,” I placed a forkful of choley in my mouth. Spicy! I drank half a glass of water.

“Maybe we can sneak into one of the stone temples built over the ghats and watch from above. What do you think?” asked Paul as he dug into his dal and nodded his approval of the chef’s creation.

“We can try,” I said. “Remember that tunnel we walked through the other day? When we reached the end I saw stone steps that led up to a six-sided tower.”

“Okay, sounds like a plan. Let’s go later on when it’s good and dark,” said Paul.

Returning to the Ghats

Night descended on Benares and we left our hostel. Vendors sold samosas, (cooked meat wrapped in a pastry), from carts on street corners. Crowds bustled up and down the sidewalks. Women, resplendent in their colorful saris, were on their way to enjoy an evening out with their well-dressed men. We slowly made our way to the river and found the tunnel. Paul lit a hash pipe, took a hit and handed it to me. Years of smoking marijuana and hashish had resulted in my night vision being shot. We entered the tunnel and began to move forward. I was soon engulfed in an inky blackness so dark that I could not see a thing. Now I was both stoned and blind! I groped my way taking one careful step at a time. The place stunk and I didn’t know what I was stepping on. Mud? Whatever it was felt wet and slimy. I thought I heard the squeaky noises of rats and shud-dered. Paul had swiftly moved ahead and was soon gone. I cautiously proceeded one slow step at a time. Time was suspended and it seemed to take forever before I began to see a faint light up ahead. I finally emerged from the tunnel, took in a deep breath of fresh air and sighed with relief. Paul was standing at the bottom of the temple.

      “What took you so long?”

I declined to answer and followed him as we ascended a long flight of stairs which led to an ancient tower carved from stone and built with six sides. Each wall had an open window in the Mughal style with scalloped top and ornate carvings down each side. We found places to sit and looked out on the Ganges. Boats anchored along the riverside had multi-colored lights which shimmered and reflected in the moving water below. Paul lit a pipe of hash, took a hit and passed it to me. I inhaled, held the smoke in, and slowly exhaled. We heard the sound of music and chanting in the distance. Soon the sounds echoed off the tower walls and we glanced down in time to see a procession of white clothed people playing tambourines, flutes, drums and other assorted instruments. They were led by a priest with shaven head who wore garlands of orange flowers around his neck and loudly clapped his hands as he walked.

“Ram, Ram, Ram”

“Ram, Ram, Ram,” cried the priest which in Hindi means God.

The body was carried by family members and the line of mourners headed for the burning ghats. Paul and I watched mesmerized from our windows as the line of people stopped before a stack of wood that rose high above their heads. The body was placed on top of the stack and the priest walked around and lit the wood in several places. Flames began to erupt and smoke rose in the night air. Bright red and orange sparks were carried by updrafts and flew past us as we took in the scene below.

“Here,” Paul said and passed me the pipe.

I took a hit and passed it back.

By now the body was fully consumed by the fire and the group of mourners stood respect-fully at a distance and watched as their dear one was cremated.

“That kind of makes me think about my own mortality,” I observed.

Paul looked at me and smiled.

“My old Dad used to say that you’ll never get out of this life alive.”

We both laughed, but I felt disconnected, like I was observing everything from somewhere outside of myself. I turned my head and glanced out the window. The center scallop stood out in the flickering light from the fire beneath us. Directly below it a silvery crescent moon lay precisely on its back. Without having to adjust my head, the moon formed a perfect circle with the scalloped center of the window.

I stared in amazement and a feeling of deep spiritual awe swept through me. Yes, death is certain and, in that moment, I chose to live my life in a way that reflected caring, love and compassion. I took another look at the circle, closed my eyes, and silently uttered a prayer of heartfelt acknowledgment and gratitude.

Dancing with Nature to Co-create

| Spirituality & Transformation | July 11, 2011

Dancing with Nature to Co-create

The essence of nature is the same essence in humans. We can experience a oneness within that feels blissful and helps us to remember WHO WE REALLY ARE. We can experience a new sense of clarity and revitalization when we take time to tune in to the natural, living world around us. We are part of this magnificent creative universe and can feel a stronger sense of our own purpose if we spend a little time each day in nature.

Why am I here?

What is my purpose?

What can I do that helps me share my gifts with my community and the world?

What fills me with joy?

How will I share this?

These are questions I have asked myself and many of the answers came to me when I was alone in nature. When we are surrounded by concrete, artificial lights and looking out of boxes with glass windows, how can we feel ourselves in relation to the environment?

We can connect and feel our own divinity/essence/light and feel a much stronger and clearer sense of WHO WE REALLY ARE in a natural environment. Nature is healing, soothing, inspiring, revitalizing, alive, organic, rich, abundant, sacred, geometric, beautiful and filled with love.

The Language of the World

If we listen, we will hear the language of the world. Nature speaks to us and we speak to nature through feeling. It is this same sense/tool that we use to communicate with animals and birds and the unseen world (spirit and energy).

Yes, feeling is IT. Connecting to our feelings and heart allows us to communicate in  multiple ways to really hear and listen.

If we are in cities full of noise and technology with wireless waves floating around us, it can be more difficult to connect to the source of all that we are. The reflection of the environment (office, building etc) does not contain the same spark of life and divine light that nature does. The same divine light that is in every human being and animal.

The Energies of Different Countries

Each country has a different kind of natural environment which has enticed travelers and explorers for centuries in search of the natural wonders, Shambala, beauty and bliss. From the hot and dry, red, dusty earth of the Australian outback, to the wild, windy, wet and cold Scottish Highlands. The crisp, thin air of the Swiss Alps or the humid jungles and burning volcanoes of Hawaii; each natural environment holds a very different energy.

Imagine connecting to nature in these vastly different places and then using this natural energy to inspire your creativity to connect to your own authentic self; your truth, your soul, your passion and your PURPOSE. In each place we travel to and visit, we can connect to the nature in that country and be inspired by its unique energy.

These words: Authentic Self, Truth, Passion, Essence, Divine Light, Joy, Soul and  Purpose, all relate to the same sense of inner fulfillment we feel when we are connected to the natural source and to the Whole. It is the Oneness of the universe, the connectivity of all things. In this Oneness we can fall in love with ourselves and all of existence.

With this understanding we can say that we are Co-Creators with nature. We dance with nature and the elements and express in the ways that feel most natural and fulfilling to each one of us.

Deepening Our Connection with Nature

Deepening our connection with nature and the natural world is one of the first steps to take that can help each person find their unique PURPOSE in the world. Inspiration can emerge to then offer their GREATEST GIFTS to make a difference and SHINE. Feeling our authentic selves also allows us to develop deeper and more meaningful relationships with each other.

From this place we can begin to express creatively and spontaneously. We are guided by our intuition in harmony with nature and move with the rhythms of the natural world.

There are limitless opportunities in the universe. There are no boundaries other than those we give ourselves. So let’s release, open and free ourselves in creative joy with each other and dance with nature as the magnificent Co-Creators that we are.

The poem ‘Urban Rose’ I wrote whilst living in London 2008/9 reflects the sentiments of this article:

Urban Rose

Sweet scented rose,

the pink one
that shared its
faint scent
three times;
I felt a Goddess
in its paper veins.

It connected
to that creative part in me
that forgets,
in these grey surroundings,
the sensation
a simple glint of color can ignite.

A bed of velvet primulas
becomes illuminated
under night lamps,
a gift to me in urban landscape.

I look,
eyes devouring shape, color, texture,
miniature nature bed
softening edges
I already feel hardening around me.

Care of the Mind by Angeline Welk

| Spirituality & Transformation | June 2, 2011

“…let the renewing of your minds transform you,…”
letters of Paul

The mind is sacred

It is a sanctuary in which your thoughts and ideas have their beginnings. Here, in this divine creation, you nurture those thoughts that are important to you. Giving life to them, you manifest them as your experience. These thoughts, when graced with love, take the form of beautiful, defined and colorful patterns that become the matrix of your evolving mental body.

Your mind is the receptacle for the Creator’s thoughts, divine communication with you. As the divine language enters your mind sanctuary, the neurons and cells of the anatomical mind light up for the thoughts of Deity are luminous.

When your mind is sensitized, a new awareness happens. The activation by the language of Light allows for an awakened understanding of practical and spiritual knowledge. The wisdom of the divine Word is perceived as a coded universal teaching, applicable through the eras of time.

You care for your mind when you choose to balance stillness with activity. In the environment of stillness, you give your mind the time and space to organize, assemble, and harmonize incoming knowledge. The mysterious intelligence of your mind unifies this knowledge, leading you to an enlightened understanding of your own thoughts, and the knowledge offered to you.

You are held responsible and accountable . . .

You are held responsible and accountable for taking care of your mind: to empty it of stressful thoughts and attitudes, to strengthen it through concentration and meditation, to appreciate it as an original gift. Be mindful of what you accept into your mind and where you take your mind. Let it hear the songs of nature. Let it hear your own kind voice. Let it hear your inner Teacher beckoning you to value your mind. Let your mind see the rainbow colors of the heavens. Let it know the warm greetings of the golden Sun. Let it see the art of nature and that which comes from the soul life of another. Let your mind house beautiful memories.

Your mind can be likened to a pyramid with many chambers of secrets and mysteries. In caring for your mind, secrets and mysteries of nature, stars and galaxies, constellations and your own archetypal design are revealed to you. Always remember the teaching of Paul:

“…let the renewing of your minds transform you,…”

Grateful for what I already have
Observing where I would like to see change
Desirous of a new reality

Grateful for what I already have…

They say a good place to start is where you are. No matter where you are, you can be grateful – for something. Gratitude is a powerful way to balance your energy, especially if all you are noticing is what you don’t want. Cultivating an attitude of gratitude will raise your vibration on a daily, hourly or moment to moment basis, depending on how you practice. Look around you and find something that gives you pleasure. Observe it and observe how you feel. Find beauty in your environment. Create a list of things you love about your life. Being able to appreciate what you already have will create space for more to come.

Observing where I would like to see change…

This could be a list of all the areas where you are dissatisfied. Create the list without judgment or attachment. This is a space to come out of denial. Face all we have not yet faced and prepare to make friends. Not in a passive “I am friends with everyone” way. More in a recognizing “we are all One find the good in everything” way. This will allow you to be gentle and fierce. Focus your attention intentionally. Observe what you want without feelings of failure or self hate. You are here, Now and for a reason. Let’s move forward from here. Be Truly You. The world would be diminished if it lacked your magnificence. So Shine. Do not compromise the light you are. Be your brightest and let others bask in your glow. We are all One. We know this from research in science and investigation of Spirit. A Being that is compassionate and loving serves the world best by being Self Centered. When you allow yourself more greatness we all receive more. Your good is our good.

Desirous of a new reality …

We shall say Desirous instead of Wanting. Wanting is absent, lacking, without, or nonexistence. The definition of Wanting is Not Having and not know how it will ever come. Desirous is Having even just Having a desire for. Desirous is hoping, longing, ready, wishing, willing, hopeful, eager, aspiring, craving, yearning. Feel into Yearning. Yearning is hopeful for what you have yet to achieve. We are hopeful, eager and wishing a new reality. We are confident that we will achieve it. We are out of instant gratification. No, it may not be today. Though each day we take a step forward and build on the achievements of yesterday. Tomorrow holds infinite possibilities. Our job is not to be disappointed that it is not all here at once. Our job is to hold the vision. Know it is on its way. In the meantime, rework in the contrast as new aspects move towards us and unfold into the feeling of your true greatness. Allow. Receive. Desire.

River of Life – A Dream

| Spirituality & Transformation | April 8, 2011

Here is my dream from last Monday about the river of life. (It was similar to the Salmon Rushdie story ‘Haroun & the sea of stories’, a must read!!):

I was in a built environment (inside a series of building connected), and the river of life ran through it. At some point I saw that there was a rainbow feeding directly into it – that the magic of the rainbow was the source of the stream of all life. I was so excited that I ran over to it, and accidentally tripped on the rainbow. I realised that there was something mechanical/electrical behind the illusion of the rainbow, at this point it was still in an arc shape and the magic co-existed with the mechanics. The sky was a real sky and very blue.

However, once I shared my surprise that the rainbow had wires, people lost faith in the power of magic. The rainbow disappeared and the wires fell to the ground in a heap no longer working. Because the rainbow was the source of the stream of life, the stream started to run dry. The water started to get murky and garbage started to collect. It felt like a roof replaced the natural sky. I was horrified and asked the great spirit what could be done?!? It said to hold space for the water to get clear and ask for help in having it restore to health and balance. Bless the water, and my faith in magic will be all spirit needs to know to step in. I followed the instructions and felt a shift occur.

The trees started dropping their flowers into the river – giving them as an offering for purification. Crystals appeared in the river bed. The strangest part was that the flowers died as the water drank the life force out of the flowers in an incredible sacrificial role reversal. The flowers gave their life force back to the water for the greater good. And the more flowers gifted to the water, the clearer it became. At first it shocked me to see the flowers instantly wither in the water and spirit told me it was okay. That this, and putting crystals into the water, was the only way to purify it enough so that it can sustain life again.

As I wrote this dream out to share with a friend in Japan on the topic of blessing the water, a magical rainbow re-appeared outside of my window. When I saw it earlier this morning, it was really bright and a full arch. Light rain fell on me as I stood out there with gratitude in my heart.
When my mom was ill in the hospital, a little girl came to visit her and had made her a card. It was in the shape of a heart, and a rainbow was drawn inside. It read: “Wishing you rainbows”.
I wish all of you the magic of rainbows.

XOXOXO
Addy :)

The Cosmic Clock: Opening of the Seven Seals (Chakras)

| Spirituality & Transformation | April 5, 2011

It is March, 2011, my clock, resting on a light-wood shelf is ticking  away in seconds, minutes, and hours.  At 9:26, mornings and evenings, the ticking is interrupted with a distinctive, audible, and alerting sound. I consult my intuitive guidance for help in interpreting the numbers being highlighted.

From the science of Numerology, we learn that the number nine represents a completion, an ending, and a fulfillment. The number 26 adds up to an eight, meaning a new beginning, infinity, and the name of God, Yod Hei Vav Hei.

The message of the number 9:26 is letting us know that the Piscean Era with its focus on idealism and devotion is nearing completion.  It also lets us know that the new beginning relates to developing a spiritual consciousness, one in which divine love, the higher mind, spiritual will, and intuitive wisdom are realized.

Later in March the cosmic clock activated the number 8:55. Again the number eight is emphasized, while the number 55 points to pioneering  leadership, intuition, and using mental powers wisely.  These attributes identify us with an Aquarian spirit. The cosmic clock continues with numbers that imply change and transformation.  They are communicating that the Revelation is in motion undoing what we thought was our security and happiness. Our sevenfold body is being challenged with the opening and/or activation of the seven seals (chakras).

The Book of Revelation

Referring to the Book of Revelation, Edgar Cayce says that as each spiritual center within the body is activated, different parts of the body are purified and upheavals of the body occur mentally, physically, and spiritually.

In the 90’s I was encouraged to interpret the Book of Revelation. This book is a mystical code of the soul’s journey to enlightenment. The first three chapters are messages to the seven spiritual centers represented as churches.  In coded language each center is told what it needs to correct and the gift it will receive when it listens to the Spirit and follows its guidance. It is well for us to pay attention to these messages as they apply to us as they did to ancient cultures.

The message to the first spiritual center is: ”you have left your first love.” We are being told that we are immersing ourselves in the material world to the exclusion of developing our spiritual nature and love for God. The message continues promising a gift if we choose to overcome our misplaced tendencies. When we return to our first love, then we will activate our divine qualities represented by the Tree of Life thereby becoming immortalized. We will once again enjoy the life with God as we did in our original experience of paradise.

The second spiritual center relates to powers of alchemy, regeneration, and to the creative love-fire. The message for this center is to remove all fears and adherence to false philosophies from this center.    When we change our attitudes that prompt fear, and choose teachings that support a solid spiritual foundation, we are given the crown of life.  This means that the higher mind is activated and we participate in truths that help us soar in freedom. The message to the third spiritual center is potent in its expression. We are told that we have abused this center by using its power for holding anger, resentment, and carrying out destructive urges. This center weakens when its power is invested in satisfying carnal desires.

We are challenged to use the power of this spiritual center to heal ourselves and the earth, to be peacemakers, and to discern how to constructively be stewards of power. The Spirit says to those who act on its counsel, “I will give to eat of the hidden manna, and I will give [them] a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no [one] knows except the [one] who receives it.

The hidden manna symbolizes truths and knowledge hidden from us. It will be given to those who demonstrate and are a witness of how to honor power. The white stone with our new name is the eternal name given to us by God. It identifies and represents our unique spirit and consciousness. It is set in white stone indicating a Light consciousness and a name that is permanent.

In the message to the heart center, the Spirit powerfully reminds us that it searches our minds and hearts, and gives to each one according to our choices. It also lets us know that when the spirit of our heart consciousness is love that is Godlike, we are given The Morning Star. This bright Star of the sunrise awakens our memory of beauty, love, and harmony, attributes of the heart center.

The throat center rotates with Light when we use words that are empowering, uplifting, and inspiring. This center records the nature of our speech. We strengthen this center when we draw the spiritual currents from the realm of divine will to us. Defining our lives in resonance with higher will raise the vibration of all the spiritual centers. Once this happens we will be “clothed in white robes” as promised by the Spirit.

When the Voice speaks to the sixth center, it says, “…anoint your eyes with salve, that you may see.” The Spirit is telling us that our vision needs clearing; to see with the Spiritual Eye. Our inner vision is cloudy from relying on the practical mind and the technological world for our well-being. It advises us to “…buy of me gold refined in the fire, that you may become rich; and white raiment,…” The gold relates to the scrolls of wisdom; the white raiment to spiritual pureness. The Holy Spirit reminds us to reconsider the ways that distract us from being receptive to our inner wisdom and from living the inspirations we receive. This Presence assures us that in changing our ways, it will open our awareness to a brighter and peaceful life.

In addressing the crown center, the Spirit counsels us regarding the key to enlightenment. It lets us know that when our hearts are alive with spiritual love, then we can open the crown door to its activity and guidance, leading us through this challenging time into the new era of Aquarian Light. With the spiritual key we can close the door to any thought-forms that would weaken our minds and spirit. The Presence also reminds us to ‘hold fast’ what we have attained as we are subject to many diverting opinions and strategies.

When we have spiritualized the crown center, the Spirit acknowledges us as being a pillar of strength, helping to maintain and sustain the temple of the Earth. With this attainment we have completed the need for reincarnating. The Voice continues its message telling us that it will write upon each one new names, reflecting our spiritual awareness. The message is completed with: “[The one] who has ears, let [it] hear what the Spirit says to the churches [the spiritual centers].

About me:  I am a pioneer in translating the traditional spiritual teachings, the divine Word, in the light of the Aquarian Era.  My intention for these writings is that they are joyous, clear, pure, practical, and understandable. I am also a pioneer in bringing attention to the meanings coded within the English alphabet. My writings include showing the correlation of the English alphabet to the original fire letters.

My efforts now are to enlighten the nation on the power of handwriting, and the wisdom to include handwriting as part of genuine education. To learn of my writings and consultations, you can contact me through any of the following:

Seduction of Speed by Rebeka Gentian

| Spirituality & Transformation | March 30, 2011

Are you noticing the quickening?

Does it feel like time is speeding by you? Are you a little caught up in the current? Have you found yourself missing deadlines and opportunities because everything is happening so fast? Have you been watching the months roll by and not making the progress that you wanted?

Gentle, my friend, it’s not just you. We have all been seduced by the speed. Tricked into the old world paradigm of losing time, running out of time, end of time. How about a reunion with natural time?

“Time is just a construct of nature that prevents everything from happening all at once.”
Dr. Fred Alan Wolfe, Quantum Physicist featured in The Secret & Down the Rabbit Hole.

The old world of fear and lack is nearly behind us – or beneath us. And we are right on time.

We are living in a mathematically equated universe. Notice the Fibonacci sequence anywhere? Our life is numbers and we are right on schedule. The schedule of consciousness evolution is embedded in the Mayan pyramids and their calendar.

*This depiction was created by the late Ian Lungold. His work can be found at Mayanmajix.com. The current depiction on his site has been recently changed to reflect the shifted reading of Dr. Carl Calleman, who now believes the first day of the Universal cycle to be March 9th 2011. My work reflects the original findings of Ian and Carl. I feel additional confidence in the February10th date due to the resignation of Mubarak and liberation of Egypt on February 11th 2011.

The pyramid is the calendar

The nine levels of the pyramid depict the nine evolutions of consciousness. There are 13 heavens or major shifts of consciousness within each level of evolution. These are also referred to as the 7 days and 6 nights of a cycle. We are currently living the highest, most condensed level. The level of Universal Consciousness. We are in the third of thirteen heavens within this level or the second Day (3/23/11-4/11/11) . Welcome back to Illumination. Things are flowing and you are finding the ground under your feet again. Or maybe you’re not. Maybe you are still reeling from all of the events of a very intense first Night (3/3/11-3/22/11).

Come back to center

What is actually speeding up is creation, not time. More is possible than ever before. More is being created. More and more opportunities are coming. Life will seem as if it moving by very fast if you become seduced by the speed. You can choose not to lose your sovereignty to seduction. Utilize this period of quickening to create Yourself in your perfect truth. Find yourself and each day fuller and WE will all become greater. The world will be diminished if it lacks your magnificence. You can get swept up in it all or you can be swept up in it all. We love you.

Anything Can Happen in the Dark

| Spirituality & Transformation | March 8, 2011

nightlight

By Kat Tepelyan

“Please turn on the kitchen light”, said Sofia as I tucked her in, rosy-cheeked and 3. I was babysitting her and her toddler brother, happily asleep at this point, while their parents – good friends of mine – attempted to go out like “people without children do.”

“Of course.” I kissed her, walked out leaving the door slightly ajar and turned on the kitchen light. She nodded, and I happily bee-lined for the bathroom. Between story time, the doggy game and bedtime cajolement I hadn’t had a moment to myself, and I really really had to go. So I booked down the hall of this large pre-war New York City apartment, settled in on the toilet, and it was then that I heard the unsettling creaking of a slowly opening door.

The small part of me that had once been a child instantly thought, “A ghost!”. It was so instant I was shocked, and I quickly waved the thought away as I flushed and headed for the bedroom. But my throat was hot; the fear sneakily remained, curled up like a cobra, waiting to strike from within and send more endorphins up my chest. I approached the room. The door was wide open. I peered in; nothing seemed awry. The kids were in their beds, the window closed, so I tugged the door to a near close and walked carefully back to the lounge trying not to think about this big dimly lit apartment, the likes of which I never wanted to be in alone as a kid.

I managed to get to the living room and begin spreading out my work things, laptop over here, notes over there; work always got my mind off other stuff, but as soon as I got cozy on the couch, the cobra quailed and quiet, feeling certain that I had finally relaxed, there they were: the footsteps of a little person followed by the creaking of 1950′s floorboards of this now enormous-seeming place.

There is a reason I never watch scary films. First of all, as you can now tell, I’m a sissy; second of all, they make my already powerful imagination go absolutely wild. I mention this because in those films, little person footsteps nearly always mean a small mean dwarf or Chucky, or something else as pleasant. I swallowed, waited a moment and decided that I was an adult!, and this was completely ridiculous.

So I got up and approached the room gingerly, walking through what felt like an endless dark hallway, my heart still pounding, body wanting to leap to all the lights and turn them on, and as I approached the bedroom door, almost entirely certain that it was Sofia I had heard minutes earlier, I found that I was still reserving a little bit of space for my insane ghost/evil dwarf/Chucky fantasy to play itself in my head.

I turned the corner and was eased. It was no Chucky. Sofia was standing in the doorway, eyes wide open. “That light” she pointed to the kitchen light I hadn’t lit. “I want that light on.” I turned and looked. It was a big paper lamp dangling from the kitchen ceiling, visible directly from her bed, taunting her with it’s complete off-ness. She wanted that light. I went over and lit it. Her face relaxed; she crawled back into bed, and as I tucked her in again and walked out, I watched her face remain aimed directly at the kitchen, eyes open, making sure the light wouldn’t go out.

As I sat back down on the couch, fully relaxed now, my mind began to race. Why are we scared of the dark, those of us that are? Darwinian theory suggests that it’s because the dark represents unseen predators and thus potential death, a fear that has helped our species survive and thus evolve, a fear so basic that children begin to experience it after a certain age, an age I suspect, when they feel true separation of identity from their parents and begin to feel – alone. Having never encountered a jaguar or a bear in big empty apartments in New York and no longer being a baby, I still occasionally experience the irrational and momentarily paralyzing fear of being somewhere in the dark and – alone.

The parents came home very soon thereafter, having discovered that hanging out in the bar like they once had is just not as much fun when you have a partner and some math skills to work out how many drinks you can have at home for the price of one drink in a New York bar. So they left the pub, stopped by the liquor shop, bought some nice bourbon and settled in on their couch with me instead.

Over a cigarette in another huge room moments later, the husband said to me, “It’s hard to find true meaning in the act of doing anything. Yet you know you must press on because what else is there to do? And, well, it can get lonely in the void.”

I laughed a laugh of hard recognition. Of course.

It might be hard to understand for some, but experiencing “the void”, as dramatic as it might sound, is the act of facing the giant universe you don’t really and will never fully understand. A place of wonder and seeming miracles, it is also a place of endless mystery, a well ever-pregnant with multitudes of realities that walk around in an enormous variety of forms. Facing that is facing your amazing tiny-ness as well as your amazing huge-ness, along with the knowledge that you will never have it all figured out, ever.

It’s all a bit like looking out the airport lounge window – the commotion outside is not nothing, but it’s not yet something meaningful either. You’re waiting to board, yet your destination – as certain as a printed ticket may be – will bring so many unknowns, so many possibilities. As you look into the void, whatever it is, you realize it’s everywhere, it’s in everyone, and it’s you. Once you’ve experienced that, whether through illness, a loss, a transcendental experience or whatever, your only choice is to go forward, as lonely as you might sometimes feel, as uncertain as you may often be.

It hit me then that the fear that had Sofia’s face glued to the direction of the kitchen light was the very same fear that has us all glued in the direction of something that will give definition to our lives: a career, a relationship, a plan. We all seek something that won’t make us feel as alone, as aimless as planes taxing about below. So we get busy taxing. Because if we don’t, what do we do? We fear the dark may envelop us if we stop, so we don’t. We go to sleep with the light on so we don’t have to peer back into the void and wonder what the hell we’re doing here if we’re not taxing.

And there you stand, face pressed against the window, both excited and scared, holding your ticket tight, feeling a little lonely, because you know that anything can happen in the sky, and certainly anything can happen in the dark.
