About Me

Heather Le'a Poole is an Artist and Holistic Health Practitioner She loves Hawaii deeply and has spent many years in the ocean with dolphins, whales and waves and on land with the plants and flowers of the island.

In the harmony arts Heather is a Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner, certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and works with the music of the harp, imagery, meditation. She creates individual CDs for clients to assist life changes. Clients are seen in person and via Skype.

In working with others as an artist Heather creates personalized pieces for clients that reflect the individualized dreams, changes and vision(s) of a personalized mythology, the pieces are touchstone that support and facilitate their journey. Commissioned work includes paintings, sculpture, CDs, jewelry, and flower essences.

She received the MFA in Creative Writing, with a concentration in poetry, from Arizona State University while pursuing interests in visual & book arts, and was the recipient of the Graduate Completion Fellowship. Her poetry has been published in Runes Literary Journal, Macy's Art Gallery, NYC/BlanketStoriesProject. In addition to writing Heather is a painter; Meditations of Light is her latest series. Her art is in private collections and has been part of solo and group exhibitions.

Heather was awarded the Beardmore Anderson Scholarship for visual arts from the American Academy of University Women at University of Hawai'i. Her award winning photography has been used as a book jacket and she has accompanied art openings at the Fairmont Orchid, HI, Peaberry & Gallette, HI and the Andrea Smith Gallery, AZ where her meditative CD Luminous Essence is carried, with piano and harp.

She creates photo albums, artist books, is a consultant for design/home projects and has interests in soundscapes/installation/film projects.
