Description
Senate Bill 2045 (SB2045)–a bill under consideration in the Hawaii legislature–will be before the Ways and Means Committee on February 23, 2012. As presently written the bill would make it legal for mopeds to use Ke Ala Hele Makalae and many other multi-use paths around the state.
I hope you agree that mopeds on the paths would be sickening!
Please take a moment now to e-mail Kauai’s Senator Ron Kouchi mailto:senkouchi@Capitol.hawaii.gov, who is on the Senate Ways and Means Committee, and request his influence and vote to either kill SB 2045 now or to amend it as recommended by the Maui Bicycle Alliance.
