ART Gatherings Children of the Land: Begins on Saturday!! 1/7

In 2012 Kaua’i Artist/Educator, Leonora (‘Auntie Leah’) Orr will be offering 3 gatherings monthly to foster creativity, peaceful living, and collaboration through the Arts.

Two gatherings will take place at Keiki O Ka ‘Aina/Children of the Land:

“Coconut Wireless”, lst Sat. monthly, 3 – 5 p.m. ….making books by hand, sketching/painting/storytelling

“CONCH” : Creative Openings for New Collaborative Hearts and Hands, 3rd Sat. monthly, 3 – 5 p.m.

The other gathering, “Gardens of Grace: Nature As Muse” will take place on the 3rd Sunday monthly, from 10 a.m. to noon, in public/private/semi-private gardens on the Island.

The focus for all gatherings will be on nature, sharing in community, the elements, visual forms of expression and inspiring motivation.

All gatherings are free of charge (donations gladly accepted for materials), open to any age (4 and up), no experience necessary, materials provided.

Sign – up is required at Keiki O Ka ‘Aina/Children of the Land for the 2 classes there, and at “Bright Space”, Golden Lotus Building for garden gatherings.

Classes are limited to 12 attendees.
